A cleanup workflow, not another blank report
Expensum starts with the sources that already contain your expense evidence: receipts, Gmail receipt candidates, and card charges. The product is designed to help you find what is already there and identify what is still missing.
The basic flow
- Connect Gmail with read-only access. Gmail receipt import is a separate connection step, and Expensum does not modify your inbox.
- Connect a card securely through Plaid so card charges can be compared against receipts.
- Upload paper receipts or PDFs that are not available in Gmail.
- Review suggested matches before using the expense record anywhere else.
- Focus on missing receipts and exceptions before you prepare your final report.
What Expensum does not promise
Expensum does not currently submit reports directly into Concur, does not guarantee perfect receipt detection or matching, and does not remove the need to review your own expense records. Outlook receipt import is not currently available.
