Expensum

Expensum is expense cleanup software for employees, sales reps, consultants, frequent travelers, and busy professionals who fall behind on expense reports.

It helps you find receipts, match them to connected card charges, upload paper receipts or PDFs, and focus on missing items and exceptions before you prepare the final report.

How cleanup works

1. Connect Gmail with read-only access to find receipt candidates.
2. Connect a card securely through Plaid so cleanup starts from the real charge list.
3. Upload paper receipts, screenshots, PDFs, or downloaded confirmations.
4. Review suggested receipt-to-transaction matches before relying on the records.
5. Resolve missing receipts, duplicate receipts, mismatched amounts, and unclear merchants.

• Catch up on expense reports - start from the card charges, find the missing receipts, and work through overdue expenses.
• Find missing receipts in Gmail - use receipt terms, merchant names, date ranges, and attachment searches before giving up.
• Match receipts to card charges - handle posting delays, tips, travel charges, and merchant names that do not line up.

Important limitations

Expensum does not submit reports directly into Concur, does not guarantee perfect receipt matching, and does not remove the need to review your own expense records. Outlook receipt import is not currently available.
